Starting on Sunday, December 1st, the Terrace Bar on the lobby floor will be collaborating with Brillar Co., Ltd., Japan's first moissanite jeweler, to offer "The Bar Brilliant Celebration" plans to add color to a special evening.
An original cocktail called "Grand Bonheur" with a hint of moissanite, a rare gemstone that is said to shine 2.5 times brighter than diamonds (*1), will create a special evening for two. Two cocktails are included in the plan, and one of them will have a moissanite that you have reserved in advance hidden in the glass. The moissanite will be fashioned into your desired jewelry and delivered to your home.
The original cocktail created by the head bartender of "Terrace Bar" features a deep flavor with the rich aroma of caramel and cacao. He began his career as a bartender at the Oak Door Bar at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in 2003. He then honed his skills at the hotel's main bar, Maduro. After gaining further experience at hotel bars in Tokyo, he was appointed manager of the Conrad Tokyo bar lounge, Twenty Eight. In addition to training the next generation, he continues to take on challenges himself, becoming a Top 5 finalist in the 2020 Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition, a Top 10 finalist in the 2021 Diageo World Class, and winning his category at the same competition, as well as winning the CT Spirits Cocktail Competition in the same year.
He will be appointed Head Bartender/Manager at the Hilton Narita in December 2023. In 2024, he will be appointed as the official Pisco Porton Japan brand ambassador for one of the popular brands of Peru's national drink, Pisco, and will be involved in various activities.
