Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel has partnered with Kobe Port Tower, whose observation deck, lower floor entrance and ticket booth are operated by Felissimo Corporation, to sell a limited number of 40 tickets for a plan that includes a ticket to view the first sunrise at the Port Tower, available only to those who check in on Tuesday, December 31st. This special plan allows customers to view the first sunrise from the indoor observation deck, and also includes a drink for a toast and a gift.

■About Kobe Port Tower
Completed on November 20, 1963 at the central pier of Kobe Port, its beautiful appearance resembling a long drum with its hyperboloid structure has earned it the nickname "The Beauty of the Steel Tower" and it has been loved by the people of Kobe for about 60 years. It will be reopened after completing earthquake-resistance renovation work on Friday, April 26, 2024. A new rooftop deck has been built at the top of the 108m-tall tower, offering a 360-degree view of Kobe from a height of about 100m.
