Terms and Conditions

Article 1. Name

The membership program is called "CLUB ORIENTAL" and is operated by Hotel Management Japan Co. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

For the purposes of this agreement, the Company refers to the group of the following 14 hotels, which are International Garden Hotel Narita, Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay, Namba Oriental Hotel, Oriental Hotel Universal City, Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, Oriental Hotel Hiroshima, Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station, Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa, Hotel Oriental Express Osaka Shinsaibashi, Okinawa Harborview Hotel, Oriental Hotel Kyoto Rokujo, Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Nakasukawabata, Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin, Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Kamata, as well as their 10 operating companies including Hotel Management Japan Corporation, Narita Yoshikura Operations Corporation, Osaka Sakurajima Operations Corporation, Hotel Centraza Corporation, Lagoon Resort Nago Corporation, Hotel Oriental Express Co. , Kyoto Horikawa Operations Corporation, Fukuoka Tenyacho Operations Corporation, Fukuoka Tenjin Operations Corporation, Anoma Operations Co.

Article 2 General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the membership program offered by the Company.
This is a membership program that provides benefits, discounts, and special offers for hotel accommodations, restaurants, wedding services, and other services at our hotels.
The latest information on eligible facilities that provide CLUB ORIENTAL member services and benefits etc. will be posted on the Oriental Hotels & Resorts website.
The Company may outsource the operation of CLUB ORIENTAL to Group companies or third parties.

Article 3 Definition of Membership

A member is defined as an individual who has agreed to the Terms and Conditions, has applied for membership in accordance with the Company's prescribed procedures, and has been approved for membership by the Company.

Article 4 Application for Membership

The membership application is complete when a legitimate application form has been filled out and submitted (applications are available on the website), the Terms and Conditions have been agreed to, and the application has been approved by the Company.
The registered address must be either the member's home address or work address in the country where the member is currently residing.

Article 5 Member Qualifications

Even for those who have accepted the Terms and Conditions and have joined this membership program, individuals who fall under any of the following categories are not eligible for membership.

① Applicants who have made a false statement at the time of admission.
② Minors (except those who have parental consent).
③ Applicants whose address, telephone number, and other contact information are all unavailable.
④ Applicants who fail to pay various charges such as accommodation fees in accordance with the Company's accommodation policy.
⑤ An individual who does not comply with the Company's Accommodation Policy and Rules of Use, and who violates the orderly operation of the hotel.
⑥ Other applicants that the Company determines to be inappropriate as members.

Article 6 Loss or Cancellation of Membership

Membership may be terminated without notice if a member falls into any of the following categories
Members whose membership has been terminated are not eligible to receive any further privileges under these Terms and Conditions.
The Company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the member or any third parties.
Even when this Article is applied, the Company and its affiliates shall not be obligated to disclose the reason for the determination.

① Members who have been found to fall under any of the items of the preceding article.
② Members who have violated public order and morals or laws and regulations.
③ Members who have committed acts that are harmful to third parties, such as abusing or harassing other members or third parties.
④ A member who has committed an act that disturbs the operation of the Company, etc.
⑤ Members who have made false declarations or entries in their registration with the Company.
⑥ A member who has violated these Terms and Conditions.
⑦ Any members whom the Company considers to be ineligible for any other reason.

Article 7 Prohibition of Duplicate Registrations

Except for cases with the Company's express permission, only one membership number will be issued per member. If a member is found to have more than one membership number, the Company holds the right to merge them into a single membership number.

Article 8 Notification of Revisions to Registered Contents

In the case of a change in a member's registration data, the member should notify the Company of the change without delay via e-mail, My Page, or other communication channels.
Neither the Company nor the applicable property will be held liable for any failure to provide benefits or services as a result of failure to notify.

Article 9 Cancellation of Membership

If a member wishes to cancel his/her membership, he/she must complete the prescribed procedures, and the membership will be canceled on the date that this request is officially entered into the dedicated registration system by the Company.
In the event of the member's decease, the membership will be cancelled upon notification by the family or kin.

Article 10 Modification of Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice to or consent of the member. Deletions, additions, or changes to existing articles will be posted on the website, and all members will be notified by email of any and all modifications. Modifications will be effective upon being posted on the website.

Article 11 Obligation to Register and Manage Passwords

Members are required to register their passwords in the prescribed manner.
In addition, registered passwords should be managed carefully and changed regularly.

Article 12 Prohibition of Transfer of Rights

Members may not lend, transfer, or offer as collateral all or any part of their membership status, rights, or obligations to a third party.
In the event that the business of the membership program is transferred to a third party, the membership registration and other personal information, as well as the member's status, rights, and obligations under this Membership Agreement, may be transferred to the third party, and the member shall consent to such transfer in advance.

Article 13 Handling of Personal Information

The Company handles personal information of members in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy separately established by the Company and other parties.
The Company reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time.

Article 14 Discontinuance or Suspension of Service Provision

The Company may discontinue or suspend provision or operation of services due to maintenance work or other unavoidable circumstances at the facilities.
In this event, members will be notified in advance except in the case of unavoidable emergencies.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members or third parties as a result of the discontinuation or suspension of services regardless of the reason.

Article 15 Governing Law

Japanese law shall govern.

Article 16 Disclaimer

The Company and service facilities shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss due to a member's intentional or negligent use of membership benefits by a third party.

No enrollment fee.
No annual fee.
